A courtroom lawyer since 1972, Don handles major cases in both personal injury and business litigation. 
Don has been recognized as a "Super Lawyer" -- a recognition given to the top top 5% of attorneys in Minnesota.

Don is a member of the American and Minnesota Trial Lawyers Associations. From a farm background in southern Minnesota, Don graduated from St. Thomas College and with honors from the University of Minnesota Law School.

Active in community affairs, Don has been a Commissioner on the Hutchinson Utilities Commission for 6 years and is currently President of the Commission. He was a Director of the Hutchinson Economic Development Authority for 12 years and now serves on the Finance Team.

 Don is a military veteran, having served in the U.S. Army for 3 years. He has been active in the American Legion. He is the Judge Advocate (legal counsel) for the 115,00 member Minnesota American Legion and he serves on a national committee.

Steve Hettig

A native of Harmony, Minnesota, Steve is certified as a real property law specialist by the Minnesota State Bar Association, Real Property Law Section. Steve is also a title insurance agent for Attorney's Title Guaranty Company.

A magna cum laude graduate of the University of Michigan Law School, Steve joined the firm in 1979 after working four years with a large law firm in St. Paul.

Steve has been an active participant in the community having served on the Olivia and BOLD school boards, the Olivia EDA, the Chamber of Commerce, as well as being a volunteer for organizations such as the American Cancer Society – Renville Division, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Olivia Lions Club and founder of the 212 Youth Soccer Association.

Dan Honsey

Dan joined the firm in 1994 after working as a judicial law clerk in Minnesota's 9th Judicial District. He is a 1992 Graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School. His areas of practice are:

Dan is currently on the Board of the Ridgewater College Foundation, a member of Rotary (past president) and serves on the Hutchinson Community Foundation Board.  He has also volunteered for organizations such as:  Mainstreet Hutchinson (past president), Crow River Arts (past president) and the Hutchinson Wrestling Club.

A native of Stewartville, Minnesota, Dan received his undergraduate degree with distinction from the University of Minnesota-Morris. He is a member of the Employment Law Sections of the American Bar and Minnesota Bar Associations.

Chris Kleiman

Chris served as an officer in the U.S. Coast Guard prior to attending law school. An attorney since 1997, he worked for Liberty Diversified Industries before joining the firm. He concentrates his practice in the areas of:

Chris grew up in Blaine, Minnesota. He is an honors graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and received his bachelor's degree with distinction from the United States Coast Guard Academy. Chris is a member of the Real Property and Probate & Trust sections of both the American and Minnesota Bar Associations. He is also a title insurance agent for Attorney's Title Guaranty Company.

Chris is the current Commander American Legion Post 96 in Hutchinson.
