About
A native of Paynesville, Minnesota, Sene graduated with honors from the University of St. Thomas with a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies, with a double minor in Political Science and Legal Studies. Sene joined the firm in 2008 after earning her Juris Doctor from William Mitchell College of Law.
Sene enjoys helping her clients with the purchase and sale of agricultural, commercial and residential property, drainage issues, farm succession and estate planning, probate and trust matters, and the creation of new business entities. As an owner of a family farm, her agricultural background gives her a unique perspective on the complex issues involved in owning and operating a multi-generational farming operation. Sene is also able to provide closing and title insurance services as an independent agent for Attorney’s Title Guaranty Fund, Inc., as part of her real estate practice. She is also currently serving as a District Representative on the MSBA Real Property Section Council.
Community involvement is important to Sene. Currently, she is an active member on the Grant Committee for the Bird Island – Olivia Community Foundation Board. She also enjoys volunteering at St. Mary’s School in Bird Island, Minnesota, where she presently serves as the President of the Education Committee and is a co-chair of the book fair.
When not in the office, Sene enjoys spending time with her family and can often be found helping out on the family farm in Olivia, where she resides with her husband and two children.
